One of the most innovative treatments we offer is Zerona® which reduces fat and inches from the hips, buttocks, upper arms and back without the pain and down time associated with traditional surgery. FDA approved for fat reduction, Zerona® uses a low-level laser setting to emulsify the fat within cells below the skin. What this means is that Zerona® doesn’t remove the fat cells from the body, but causes the fat within fat cells to escape and be absorbed and disposed of by the body’s lymphatic system. Zerona® is a non-invasive fat reduction method in comparison to laser liposuction which is a type of surgical fat removal.
Applied externally, Zerona® treatment lasts 30 minutes to an hour. Typically patients require four to six individual treatments to successfully reduce fat and inches from just about any area of the body and achieve their desired fat reduction results. While no substitute for diet and exercise, Zerona® fat reduction helps patients who, for whatever reason (pregnancy, genetics, hormonal imbalances, etc.), cannot get rid of excess fat and cellulite with diet and exercise alone.
