Bede Soon Tae Cha, DO (pronounced “bead”, like “prayer bead”) is a board-certified healthcare provider specializing in Family Medicine. Dr. Cha is named after a saint from the 8th century AD. Although he was born in South Korea, Dr. Cha has lived the majority of his life in the US and considers English his first language. He received a bachelor’s degree at Johns Hopkins University, after which he attended the Georgia campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2019, Dr. Cha graduated from his family medicine residency with WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Dr. Cha grew up here in Georgia and has always considered it home. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Cha has a passion for martial arts, having practiced Wing Chun Kung Fu, Brazilian Jiujitsu, Taekwondo, Taichi, and Aikido since 2005. No matter where he is, Dr. Cha brings a unique enthusiasm for sharing his experiences and skills to promote the wellness of the individual in body, mind, and spirit.
